Petru founded Motacus Constructions 20 years ago, bringing with him a lifelong passion for construction that began at the age of 15. Growing up in Romania, he worked alongside his father, learning the trade from the ground up and developing a deep respect for craftsmanship, hard work, and the value of building something that lasts.

He turned that passion into a business, starting small but steadily growing the company through dedication, quality workmanship, and strong relationships with clients. As the company evolved, he passed on his knowledge and values to his sons, who now play a key role in the business. Prakash is the Commercial Director at Motacus Constructions and has been a key member of the team since the company’s early beginnings. With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, he brings a deep understanding of both the commercial and residential sectors, along with a wealth of knowledge that has been instrumental in the company’s growth and success.

As a registered Chartered Quantity Surveyor and fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Building, he brings a high level of professionalism, precision, and strategic thinking to every project. His expertise spans cost management, procurement, contract administration, and financial planning, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Throughout his career, he has successfully led a wide range of developments across London, working closely with clients, consultants, and the wider team to achieve outstanding results. His dedication, insight, and long-standing commitment make him a trusted advisor and a vital part of the leadership team.

Marius, as the Managing Director of Motacus Constructions, oversees the company’s day-to-day operations and plays a key role in shaping and implementing its business strategy. His journey in construction began at a young age, working alongside his father and gaining hands-on experience that laid the foundation for his deep-rooted passion and strong work ethic.

Over the years, Marius has been involved in every aspect of the business, building a wealth of practical knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the construction industry. Ovidiu is the Operations Director at Motacus Constructions and has been involved in the company from a young age. Growing up around the business, he quickly developed a strong understanding of the construction process and a natural ability to lead on-site.

With years of experience as a site manager across a wide range of residential and commercial projects, Ovidiu has built a reputation for being hardworking, detail-oriented, and highly reliable. Ben is a Senior Site Manager at Motacus Constructions, bringing excellent experience and capability to the role. Thorough exposure to the full scope of construction activities gave him a broad understanding of the industry and the ability to adapt quickly to the varied demands of each project.

Julian is the Design & Production Manager at Motacus Constructions, with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He leads the joinery department, where he specializes in designing and crafting beautiful, intricate furniture pieces, including complex staircases, bespoke wardrobes, custom doors and window.

As the head of the workshop, Julian oversees the smooth management of all production processes, ensuring efficient coordination and flawless execution from start to finish. Constantin is an experienced Site Manager at Motacus Constructions, bringing several years of expertise to the team. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed large-scale residential projects, ensuring that each is completed on time and to the highest standards.

She oversees everything from day-to-day accounting tasks to financial reporting and supplier payments, always ensuring that deadlines are met and records are precise. After completing her Master’s degree in Architecture, Alessandra joined Motacus Constructions, bringing with her a strong foundation in design and a fresh perspective on both residential and commercial projects. Alessandra is actively involved in both the joinery and construction sides of the business, gaining valuable practical experience that complements her academic training. She contributes to design meetings, prepares detailed fabrication drawings for bespoke joinery units, and regularly attends site meetings to ensure design integrity is maintained through to completion.

With a passion for turning ideas into reality, Alessandra thrives on the practical challenges of construction and enjoys collaborating with the wider team to deliver high-quality, well-crafted spaces. Her attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and adaptable approach make her a valuable and growing asset to the Motacus team.

With over 10 years of experience in the construction supply industry, Dorin serves as the Sales and Purchasing Manager at Motacus Builders Merchants, where they lead strategic procurement and sales initiatives to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Known for a deep understanding of market trends, vendor relations, and inventory control, he bridges the gap between supply and demand with precision and a results-driven approach.

He oversees counter sales, warehouse coordination, logistics, and staff supervision—keeping the branch running efficiently and meeting performance targets. Samuel is a dependable and customer-focused team member at Motacus Builders Merchants, working across both counter sales and warehouse operations. With a strong understanding of construction materials and hands-on experience in product handling, Samuel helps customers find the right supplies while keeping the warehouse organized, stocked, and running efficiently.

On the sales floor, he is known for their friendly service, product knowledge, and ability to assist everyone from DIY customers to experienced contractors. Known for reliability and attention to detail, he takes pride in maintaining vehicles, loading and unloading goods safely, and supporting day-to-day yard operations. Whether they’re behind the wheel or assisting customers on-site, they’re focused on delivering top-notch service and making sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time.

With a strong understanding of health and safety procedures and a team-first attitude, Emanuel plays an essential role in keeping everything moving—both on the road and in the yard.

Iosif is a highly skilled HGV Driver and Yard Operative, known for reliability, efficiency, and deep knowledge of transport logistics and yard operations. Holding a HGV license and multiple safety certifications, he spent years ensuring that heavy materials get delivered safely, on time, and in perfect condition—no matter the circumstances.

In the yard, he focuses on managing stock movement, assisting customers, loading/unloading with precision, and keeping operations running safely and smoothly. They have a strong grasp of health & safety regulations, vehicle checks, and equipment operation, including forklifts and lifting gear.

With a professional approach and a practical mindset, Iosif takes pride in being a go-to team member who keeps both the wheels and the workflow turning.
